Circuit Administrator/Bursar
Start date: 6.1.20 or sooner if possible.
We are looking for an innovative and experienced administrator/bursar to work alongside our  Circuit Leadership Team. As well as covering Circuit finances, this role will encompass the efficient running of Circuit administration and property matters.
The post is part-time (core time of 17.5 hours per week  plus up to 2.5 hours of evening work). Daily core hours to be negotiated. Hourly rate: £15 per hour.
Based at the Circuit Office in Whitstable, the administrator will be employed by the Canterbury and East Kent Circuit and will be under the supervision of the Superintendent Minister.
The successful candidate will:
have strong oral and written communication skills;
have a good knowledge of both Microsoft and accounting software;
be able to apply standard bookkeeping skills and accepted accounting practices;
pay close attention to detail and have excellent record keeping abilities;
be able to operate standard office equipment.
